Home My WebLink AboutResolution - 2009-39 - Abandoned Property - 06/16/2009 CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2009-39 DECLARATION OF ABANDONED PROPERTY WHEREAS, City Code 2.86 Subd. 2 requires adoption of a resolution by City Council to declare unclaimed property such as bicycles, stereo/electronic equipment, and miscellaneous items as "abandoned property;" and WHEREAS, the property has lawfully come into the possession of the City in the course of municipal operations; and WHEREAS,the property remains unclaimed by the owners; and WHEREAS,the property has been in the possession of the City for over 94 days. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Eden Prairie declares the unclaimed property as "abandoned property." ADOPTED by the City Council on June 16, 2009.
