RESOLUTION NO. 85-113
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Eden Prairie has prepared and adopted the Comprehensive
Municipal Plan ("Plan" ) ; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan has been submitted to the Metropolitan Council for review
and comment; and,
WHEREAS, -the proposal of Northrup King for development of Research Farm for
Low Density Residential , Medium Density Residential , High Density Residential ,
Commercial , and Office uses requires the amendment of the Plan ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Eden Prairie,
Minnesota, hereby approves the amendment of the Plan based on Exhibit A, attached
hereto, and made a part hereof, which includes land use designations and density
designations for the 177+ acre Research Farm, located west of Highway #169 at
Anderson Lakes Parkway.
FURTHER, that said amendment, as represented by Exhibit A, attached hereto,
is approved subject to final adoption by the Metropolitan Council .
ADOPTED by the City Council of' Eden Prairie this 7th day of May, 1985.

The 3/19/85 Plan provides for a mixed land use development of the 177 acre
Northrup King Research Farm.
The proposed land uses include:
Residential
RL - Low Density 5 units/acre
RM - Medium Density 10 units/acre
RH - High Density 20 units/acre
(Von-Residential
OFC - Office/Business Use
COM - Service Commercial
PARK -- City Park Land
SE - Scenic easement Creek Valley, privately owned
and part of adjacent housing sites
Note: The plan illustrates combinations of densities for a given site ie... RL/RM.
This may indicate a blend of densities or a mix of unit types. One
combination is the OFC/RH uses. The intent is to illustrate a transition
area or use between high density housing and office. The site may be
used for either use as long as adequate transitions are provided
