HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 81-106 - Public Hearing on Termination of Tax Increment Financing Plan - 05/19/1981 CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE COUNTY OF HENNEPIN (, STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO . 81-106 RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON TERMINATION OF REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND ON THE TERMINATION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council" ) of the City of Eden Prairie , Minnesota (the "City" ) , as follows : Section 1 . Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Tuesday, June 2 , 1981 , at 7 : 30 p .m. (CDST) , instead of on May 26 , 1981 , as previously determined by Resolution No. R81-80 , to hold a public hearing on the following matters in anticipation of the setting of a hearing for a future date to consider approval of a new tax increment financing plan and project and development plan in connection therewith: ( a) the approval of termination 'of the Redevelopment District and Redevelopment Projects approved by the Council pursuant to Resolution No . R80-188 , adopted on October 7 , 1980 , (b) the approval of terrtinattion of the Eden Prairie (Development) Redevelop- ment Plan approved by the Council pursuant to Resolution No . R80-188 , adopted on October 7 , 1980 , for such Redevelop- ment Projects and (c) the termination of the Tax Increment Financing Plan for such Redevelopment District and Redevelop- ment Projects , all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes , Chapter 462 , as amended, and Minnesota Statutes , Sections 273. 71 to 273 . 78 , inclusive, as amended . Section 2 . Notice of Hearing ; Filing of Resolution . The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to place a copy of the proposed resolution on file at the City Hall and to make such resolution available for inspection by the public , commencing May 21 , 1981 .
