RESOLUTION NO. 78-225 RESOLUTION AWARDING THE SALE OF $150,000 CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS, $500 ,000 IMPROVEMENT BONDS AND $2,350 ,000 WATER AND SEWER BONDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, as follows: 1. By Resolution No. 78 -205, duly adopted November $ , 1976, this Council called for the sale of $150 ,000 Certificates of Indebtedness, $500 ,000 Improvement Bonds and $2,350,000 Water and Sewer Bonds, and directed that a notice of such sale be published. 2. Notice of the sale of such bonds and certificates of indebtedness has been published in the manner prescribed by law. All bids received pursuant to such published notice of sale have been considered and compared, and it is hereby found and determined that the bid of _ Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood, Inc. , of Minneapolis Minnesota , and associates, to purchase the bonds and certificates of indebtedness at a price of $ 2,965,174.55, . is the bid most favorable to the City and it is hereby accepted. 3. The Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to endorse the bid referred to in paragraph 2 hereof to show its acceptance by the City. The good faith check furnished by the successful bidder shall be retained by the City until deli- very of the bonds and certificates of indebtedness.
