WHEREAS, the National Kidney Foundation estimates that more than 300,000 Minnesotans and 23 millions Americans currently have hypertension, half of whom are not aware of their disease, and WHEREAS, if untreated, hypertension can lead to kidney failure, heart attack, stroke, and other medical problems, and WHEREAS, the International Dairy Queen, Inc. , through its stores, has agreed to support a Pressure Pilot Test Program. THEREFORE LET IT BE KNOWN, that May 18th and 19th is proclaimed Hypertension Detection Days and all citizens are encouraged to avail themselves of the opportunity,at Dairy Queen stores, to have their blood pressure checked. 90 y� wolfg H. enzel, Mayor CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE
