RESOLUTION APPROVING PHASE I
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR RING ROAD
PROJECT STR 72-9-26
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as requested by
law, the City Council has heard and passed upon all objections to the
proposed assessments for the Phase I Assessment for the Ring Road Project
STR 72-9-26.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDEN PRAIRIE:
1. Such proposed assessments calculated as shown on attached
Exhibit A and in Accordance with Council Resolution No. 886,
are hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assess-
ment against the lands named in the final assessment roll
and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to
be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of
the assessment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall bo payable in equal annual installments
extending over a period of years as shown on Exhibit A, the
first day of the .installments to be payable on or before
the first Monday in January,, 1975 . Subsequent installments
shall bear interest at the rate of 6.6 percent per annum. No
interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid on
or before November 14, 1974.
3. Resolution No. 896 is herein amended to include the assessment
da.ta of this Resolution No . 903.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper
tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be collected
and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
