RESOLUTION NO . 812
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A FIRE TRA WING CENTER
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the City of Eden Prairie to provide a Fire
Training Facility which will permit the Eden Prairie Volunteer Fire Department
to improve their fire fighting capabilities , and that the joint acquisition of
the Launch Area , Nike Battery 70 , St . Bonifacius in Carver County can be
utilized as such a facility, and that said site is available from the General
Services Administration of the United States of America upon terms favorable
to the proposed membership of the Western Area Fire Training Association ,
THEREFORE, Be It Resolved that the City of Eden Prairie enter into a
Joint and Cooperative Agreement with the initial membership cities of.:
Chanhassen
Chaska
Eden Prairie
Excelsior
Long Lake
Maple Plain
i Mayer
Mound
St . Bonifacius
Victoria
for the purpose of establishing the Western Area Fire Training Association
Training Center.
ADOPTED by the City of Eden Prairie this 22nd day of January, 1974 .

THE TERMS OF $2 , 500 , 000 GENERP,L OBLIGATION WATER
AND SEIIER BONDS (SERIES 6)
I , the undersigned , being the duly qualified and acting re-
cording officer of the public corporation issuing the obligations
referred to in the title of this certificate , certify that the docu-
ments attached hereto , as described above , have been carefully com-
pared with the original records of said corporation in my legal
custody , from which their have been transcribed ; that said 'documents
are a correct and complete transcript of the minutes of a meeting
of the governing body of said corporation , and correct and complete
copies of all .resolutions and other actions taken and of all docu-
ments approved by the governing body at said meeting , so far as they
relate to said obli _�-ations ; and that said meeting �-.as duly held by
the governing body at the time and place and was attended throughout
by the mern.oers indicated above , pursuant to call and notice of such
meeting given as required by lair.

The Clerk presented a-fidavits showing publication in the

official_ newspaper and in the Commercial West of notice of sale
of $2 , 500, 000 General Obligation Water and Sewer Bonds of the City,
bids for which were to be considered at this meeting as provided
by resolution adopted on December 26, 1973 . The affidavits were
examined and approved and ordered placed on file .
The Clerk reported that three sealed bids for the purchase
of the bonds had been received at his office at or before the time
stated in the notice. The bids were then opened and publicly read
and found to conform to the notice of sale and to be accompanied
by the required bid security. The purchase price, coupon rates
and net interest cost under the terrns of each bid were reported
to the Council to be as follows :
