THAT, approval be given based upon recommendations 1 through 10 stated in the Planning; Commission minutes of January 6, 1973 which is made a part hereof and marked Exhibit A with the following change: 10. That the Village is of the opinion that the highest, best, and most appropriate use for this land :is as an addition to the Anderson Lake Park; and that should funds be available and obtainable that park acquisition is recommended as a priority item; and that rezoning iri.11 be approved prior to June 1, 1973. TIIAT, it is located. in that part of Government Lot 1, Section 1_8, To,vmship 116, Range 22, lying wes,yerly of County Road 18 and northerly of a line drawn due east from a. point on the west line of said Section 18 which Point is 350 feet south from the -intersection of said Section line with the southerly line of State Highway 5; also that part of the northwest 1/4 of the northwest 1/4, Section 18, Township 116, Range 22 lying westerly of County Road 18 and southerly of State Iiighway 5; also the east 665 feet of that part of Government Lot 7 lying south of State Highway 5 in Section 13, Township 116, Range 22. Approve the concept plan as submitted with special emphasis upon the multiple unit building type proposed.. Approval is solely based upon the terrace style unit and not any apartment building. 2. The exact nusr_be.r. of -units in the project is not specified in this recommendation since the building plans axe not complete. The permi.ssable number of units will depend on the impact of the detailed Dlans. 3. That the -mit height shall not extend over the existing tree line. 4. That the unit sitelines shall be oriented away from the existing single family area to the east. 5. That the physical appearance of the buildings must be compatible with the natural surroundings of the area. 6. That the land dedicated as park land shall include the bay or lagoon area and suitable contiguous green space. 7. That this concept approval. is given for. an eight-month duration and. that should detailed plans not be presented to the Planning Commission by October 15, 1973, that this approval is automati- cally cancelled. 8. That barrier plantings are required near lake shore dedication. 9. That boating shall be prohibited from this site. 10. That the Village is of the opinion that the highest, best, and most appropriate use for this land is as an addition to the Anderson Lake Park; and that should funds be available and obtain- able that park acquisition is recommended as a priority item; and that rezoning will be approved_ prior to June 1, 1973.
