Obiazor said the Art Center, Community Center, Senior Center, and Outdoor Center are great locations for public art placement. Elliott-Stoering said there could be a need to change the focus of Round Lake to move it away from a swimming location. There could be fitness stations or art sculptures around the lake on the trail. Ramos suggested the lake could have walking trails through the lake with natural plants placed throughout. Elliot- ARTS & CULTURE COMMISSION MINUTES April 11, 2011 Page 3 Stoering said there has been discussion about a fountain being placed in Round Lake. Ramos said the negative about Round Lake is the mileage around the lake is too short to be a walking lake. Ramos said there could be a class with four different instructors with four different medias and the fee for the sampling class would include the partipants supplies. Obiazor said that each member may not understand their contribution but the change for the International Festival is good and helpful. The events don't need to go in one direction.
