RE 315 , c'( T )T!l' TOTH AU'rH0RI7INi7T T iF: ACOUIsrriON OF Pj,*�RK ', 'P_NT)S BY PU-110CIIAST, OR CONIDEMINATIC)NI TIIE F R v O E11711-I-ENT DOMAIN "AF) Prairie, it has been necessary for the Village of Eden r P- a Municipal ( orporati-on, Hennepin Coizity, Minnesota, to acquire from time to time lUnds for the use of park sites because of the rapid growth in the T)or,,ulation of the Villaryo and the e�.,er-inr-r4=!a sing number of people therein., and the Villnge has completed the comprehensive plan for the which plan designates certain areas as being the logical and appropriate areas to develop as park lands, and the frA.loT,-.rincf described tracts,pieces and parcels of land neces.,,ary for the development of the park plan of the Village, to-wit: The North 1138 feet, as measured at right angles with the North line thereof, of that part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 8, Township 116 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying East of a line run from a point on the North line of said Southwest 1/4 a distance of 498.9 feet West of the Northeast corner there -of, to a point on the center line of Minnesota State Highway #5 , a distance of 533.6 feet West of the East line of said Southwest 1/4, as measured along said center line; EXCEPT the ]East 100 feet of the North 500 feet of the above described land parcel. The North 1138 feet, as measured at right angles with the North line thereof, of that part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 8 , Township 116, Range 22, lying West of a line run from a point on the North line of said Southwest 1/4 , a distance of 498.9 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof, to a point on the center line of Minnesota State Highway #5 a distance of 533. 6 feet West of the East line of said Southwest 1/4, as measured along said center line; and lying East of a line run from a point on the North line of said Southwest 1/4, a distance of 997.8 feet West of the Northeast corner thereof, to a point on the center line of Minnesota State Highway #5 a distance of 1067. 2 feet West of the East line of said Southwest 1/4, as measured along said center line. That part of Government Lot 5 and accretions thereto, Section 24, Township 116, Range 22 , described as commencing at the meander corner on the East line of said Government Lot 5; thence Southwesterly along a line which forms an angle of 480 56' with a line extending from the point of commencement to the meander corner on the East line of Government Lot 4 in said Section 24,, a distance of 547 .4 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence West deflecting to the right at an angle of 430 13' to the shore of Anderson Lake ; thence Southeasterly, Easterly and Northeasterly along the shore of said Lake to its inter- section with a line drawn Southeasterly from the actual point of beginning at right angles to the line running from the meander corner on the East line of said Government Lot 5 to the actual point of beginning; thence Northwesterly along said last described line to the actual point of beginning. C� That part of Government Lot 5 and accretions thereto, Section 22, Township 11.6, Range 22 , described as beginning at the meander corner on the West line of said Government Lot 5; thence North along said West line 708 feet; thence East parallel to the North line of said Government Lot 5 a distance of 555 feet ; thence South 2 degrees 45 minutes East a distance of 400 feet; thence South 6 degrees 20 minutes East a distance of 384 feet, more or less, to the shore of Starring Lake; thence Westerly along said shore to its intersection with the West line of said Section 22 ; thence North along the West line of said Section 22 to the point of beginning, lying South of the Center Line of Town Road and East of the West 264.91 feet thereof. EXHIBIT "A" acquire the same by condemnation uncb� the ril-ht of eminent domain according to the laws of this state, and that such proceedings be commenced, and that the Mayor and Village Manager be, and they hereby axe, authorized and directed on behalf of the 1.'i.11age to sign a petition directed to the Dist3;t Court of ciennepin County, Minnesota, praying for the acquisition of said lands and the appointment of Commissioners to appraise the same . 1_d.opted by the Village of .Eden Pralrie this �22 day of December, 1969 .
