HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 298 - A Resolution Approving the Final Plat of Herleive Industrial Park - 09/23/1969 Number 298 RESOLUTION APPROVING Herleive Industrial Park BE .iT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Eder Prairie, Minnesota, as follows : The final plat of Herleive Industrial Park located in Section 12 , Township 116, Range 22, Hennepin County is found to be in conformance with the provisior_s of Eden Prairie Ordinance No. 93 (Subdivision Ordinance) and all amendments thereto, any is therefore approved. ADOPTED BY THE Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie this 23rd day of September 19 69. SPECIAL EAST EDEN PRAIRIE SESSION' �Y Village Manager presentee: a report covering a number of items on current and future developments uffecting the eastern area, of Eden Prairie. He noted particularly that there was a strong, i n(li cation that the now own,:rs of much of the property in that section of the Village would be submitting developmont proposals to the Village for consideration during the coming year. He reviewed actions the Village had taken to prepare itself for these proposals , including the prepation of the nee-, zoning ordinance, the authorization of overall utility system plans, construction of the fire station, and the preparation of tho Comprehunsiv:, Guide Plan. Planner Don Brauer reviewed the Comprehensive Guide Plan unphasizincg the diffarence between the Guide Plan, and the zoning map. During the discussion which followed a number of residents of the Bryant Lake zrua expressed their opposition to the possibility of any multiple, zoning in their area. They questioned both .Mr. Brauer and the Village Manager at somo lenght about t:ie portion of the auiLe Plan affecting their area. Mayor Osterholt noted that it was the intent of the Council and Planning Commission to continually review the Guide Plan and that all residents would be given the opportunity to participate in those discussions. IV„ RECOMMENDATIONS AND REP0RTS �+^`�11-9�G�Cl'�"'i�a'c E3udget.'- The Manager presented his recommended 1970 Budget anu requested that tha Council establish a special meeting to give it consideration. Mr. Lieb moved the Council hold a' special meeting on September 30, 1969, for the purpose of reviewing the Manager' s recommendations. Mr. Haugen seconded. All voted aye. Motion carri edd. B. Eden Prairie Acros . A certificate of plat correction submitted by Mr. Cardarelle was referred to attorney Perbix for consideration and recommendation. C. Sunnibrook Road Plat. Mr. Nesbitt moved that the Council approve the final plat o`f�unnybrook otl a Mr. Haugen seconded. All voted aye. [lotion carried. D. Franlo Road Plat. Mr. Nesbitt moved that the Council approve the final plat of Franlo Road. Mr. Haugen secondcd. All votes: ayu. Motion carried. E. Herleive Industrial Park. Mr. Lieb moved that the Council approve the final plat of t ear eive natal Park, locate. along the west side of Washington Avenue just south of County Road 39. Mr. Nesbitt seconded. All voted aye. Motion carried. F. Highway 5 Street Lighting. The Manager reported that the Highway Department had concurred in the Village s request for the installation of street lighting at intersecticns along TH 6 in Edon Prairic and had also advised that they would install similar lighting at major plant acesses if either the Village or the property owner would pay for the installation cost of those fixtures.
