HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 297 - A Resolution Approving the Final Plat of Franlo Road - 09/23/1969 Plumber. 297 RESOLUTION APPROVING Franlo Road Plat BE IT P.ESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, as follows : The final plat of Franlo Road 14, 23, 24 located in Section 25 & 36 , Township 116, Range 22 , Hennepin County is found to be in conformance with the provisions of Eden Prairie Ordinance No. 93 (Subdivision Ordinance) and all amendments thereto, and is therefore approved. EAST EDEN PRAIRIE SESSION' The Village 114anagor prosc:nt`d a report covering a number of items on current and future diedelonments effecting the eistarn area of Eden Prairie. He noted particularly that there was a strong indication that the new oUrn::rs of much of the property in that section of the Village would be submitting developmont proposals to the Village for consideration during the coming year. He revs evred actions the Village had taken to prepare i tsul f for these proposals , including the prepat-i on of the now zoning ordinance, the authorization of overall utility system plans, construction of the fire station, and the pr`paration of the Comprehensive Guide Plan. Planner Don Brauer reviewed the Comprehensive Guido Plan emphasizing the difforence between the Guide Plan and the zoning map. During the discussion which followed a number of residents of the Bryant Lake arua expressed their opposition to the possibility of any multiple zoning in thuir area. They questioned bothJ;Ir. Brauer and the Village Manager at some: ienght about the portion of the Guide Plan affecting their area. Mayor Osterholt noted that it was the intent of the Council and Planning Commission to continually review the Guide Plan and that all residents would be given the opportunity to participate in those discussions. IV. RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORTS A. '1970 Villa e ?;�' The Manager pry sunted his recomrnnnded 1970 3udget and requested that tha�Counci establish a special rnoeting to give it consideration. Mr. Lieb moved the Council hold a' special meeting on September 30, 1969, for the purpose of reviewing the Manager' s recomm�:ndations. Mr. Haugen seconded. All voted aye. Motion carried. B. Eden Prairie Acres. A certificate of plat correction submitted by Mr. Cardarelle was roferred to attorney Perbix for consideration and recommendation. C. Sunn brook Road Fiat. i-Ir. Mr. Nesbitt moved that the Council approve the final plat of Franco Road,- Per. Haugen seconded. All votes: ayu. Motion carried. E. Herleive Industrial Parl<. Mr. Lieb moved that the Council approve the final plat o t c ur salve- noustr�i'al Park, locates: along the west side of Washington Avenue just south of County Road 39. Mr. Nesbitt seconded. All voted aye. Motion carri ed. F. Highway 5 Street Li hc�ti nq The Manager roportcd that the Highway Department had concurred in thu Village 's request for the installation of street lighting at intcrsecticns along TH 5 in Eden Prairie and had also advised that they would install similar lighting at major plant acesses if either the Village or the property owner would pay for the installation cost of these fixtures.
