HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 296 - A Resolution Approving the Final Plat of Sunnybrook Road - 09/23/1969 Number 296 RESOLUTION APPROVING Sunnybrook Road Plat BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, as follows: The final plat of Sunnybrook Road "located in Section 23 Township 116, Range 22 , Hennepin County is found to be in conformance with the provisions of Eden Prairie Ordinance No. 93 (Subdivision Ordinance ) and all amendments thereto, and is therefore approved. SPECIAL EAST EDEiJ PRAIRIE SESSION the V go Manager presented a report covering a number of items on current and future developments effecting the eastern area of Eden Prairie. He noted particularly that there was a strong indication that the new own,�:rs of much of the property in that section of tht: Village :•soul d be submi t-ci ng dev,i opmont proposals to the. Village for consi derati on during the corning year. He revi Qwod actions the Vi l l agc had taken to prepare i tsul f for these proposals, including the prepat i on of the new zoning ordinance, the authorization of overall utility system plans, construction of the fire station, and the preparation of the Comyprohensiva Guido Plan. Planner Don Brauer reviewed the Comprehensive Guide Plan umphasizing the difference between the Guide Plan and the zoning map. During the discussion which followed a number of residents of the Bryant Lake area exprossed their opposition to the possibility of any multiple zoning in their arc!a. They questioned both .Nlr. Brauer and the Village Manager at somo 1 enght about the portion of the: Guide Plan affecting their area. Mayor Osterhol t noted that it was the intent of the Council .and Planning Commission to continually review the Guide Plan and that all residents would be given the opportunity to participate in those discussions. IV. RECOMMENDATIONS AND REPORTS -6-9-Y Bum. The Manager presented his recommended 1970 3udget and requested that thL, Coun establish a special meeting to give it consideration. Mr. Lieb moved the Council hold a' special meeting on September 30, 1969, for the purpose of reviewing thL: Manager' s recommendations. Mr. Haugen seconded. All voted aye. Motion carried. B. Eden Prairie ficros . A certificate of plat correction submitted by Mr. Cardarelle was referred to attorney Perbix for consideration and recommendation. C. Sunn brook Road Plat. i,lr. Nesbitt moved that the Council approve the final plat of�unnybrroo�k Roa6 Mr. Haugen suconded. All voted aye. Motion carried- D. Franl o Road Plat. Mr. Nesbitt moved that the Council approve the final plat of Fran�i o Road. Mr. Haugen seconded. All votes: ayu. Motion carried. E. Herle i ve Industrial Park. The Manager reported that the Highway Department had concurred in the Vi age s request for the installation of street lighting at intersucticns along TH 5 in Edcn Prairi►: and had also advised that they would install similar lighting at major plant acesses if either the Village or the property owner would pay for the installation cost of these fixtures.
