HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 294 - A Resolution Approving a Property Division for Clifford Bodin - 07/22/1969 VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 294 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPERTY DIVISION FGR CLIFFORD BODIN PARCEL 3620 , SECTION 2 , TOWNSHIP 116, RANGE 22, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA. WHEREAS, Clifford Bodi n has applied to the Village Council of the Vi 1 lage of Eden Prairie for approval of division of property in Section 2 , Township 116, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie finds that said division of the above parcel does not interfere with the purpose and intent of the Ordinances of the Village of Eden Prairie, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie that a division of the aforementioned property as hereinbefore described be accepted and approved. ADOPTED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie at a regular meeting thereof held this 22nd day of July, 1969. Nesbitt moved that the Village Nanager be authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the village with Bergstad, Wallberg, Bergquiest and Assoicates Inc. in accordance with their proposal dated ,July 17, ,1969. Mr. Schultz secos:ded . On roll call all voted aye. notion carried. E. Property Division Par:.el �100£i. Section 2. Clifford Boding'. The Village Manager presented Mr_ Bodin_'s request for a property division approval and recommended that it be approved. He noted that the land was located on the west side of Shady Oak Road j approximately mile south of west 62nd street. The land would be j divided into two tracts, the smaller of which would be 250 feet square and it would have access to Shady Oak Road. The f.lanager reported that the Planning Commission had conducted a public hearing on the request and had at its meeting on January 7 , 1969 \, recommended to the Council that the division be approved. Mr. Schultz moved that the division of the portion of the southeast quarter of the northeast one quarter of Section 2 Township 116 Range 22 as submitted by i4r. Clifford Bodin be approved. Plr. H'augen seconded. On roll call all voted aye. Motion carried. F. Council Extends Sympathy To The Family of Paul R. Red path. Mayor Osterhol t expressed the CounciIis sorrow and sympathy to the family of Councilman Paul R. Redpath whose brother was recently killed in an aircraft accident. G. furl; Commission Request For Legal Advise. By resolution adopted at its meeting on July 21 , 1969, the Park Commission requested the Coun� il to ask the Village Attorney to investigate the ownership and possible public use status of lands located within the meander lines within the area generally north of Topview Acres abd west of Inter:;tute 494. I•ir. Schultz moved that the Village Attorney be asked to investigate this matter and advise the members of the Park Commission . Mr. Haugen seconded. All voted aye. Motion carried. H. Olympic Hills Golf Course. Mr. Nesbitt asked that the Village Manager investigate the Olympic Hills Golf Course construction to determine if all the necessary permits and approvals were being ob'.-iined. The Village Manager said that he would make a full report on the matter at the next council meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 P.M.
