Jarrett - 06/10/1969 VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 291 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPERTY DIV,_ 13N FOR L. P. JARRETT IN PARCEL 2530, SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 116, RANGE 22, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, L. P . Jarrett has applied to the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie for approval of division of property in Section 9, Township 116, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie finds that s::id division of the above parcel does not interfere with the purpose and intent of the Ordinances of the Village of Eden Prairie, t NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the I Village of Eden Prairie that a division of the aforementioned property as hereinbefore described be accepted and approved. ADOPTED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie at a regular meeting thereof held this 10th day of June, 1969. Planager r:Ite reported that the County Engineer had recently prepared a long range construction program and that he would make a gull report on the program to the Council at their June 24th meeting. F. Horse Control Policy. Nanager Hite directed the Counci l's attention to a provision within the existing zoning or dinance which prohibited the maintenance of horses on property situated within 500 feet of subdivided or residentially occup.ie-d prof erty. He added that the Village ...as beginning to get ccmplaints about horses from persons li.virg in residences adjacent to prepe.-ties upon which horses are grazed or stabled and that a numrer of prospective Eden Prairie -residents had asked what the Village's policies would be relative to the regulation of horses. Mayor Osterholt suggested that the matter be considered by the nei•., Citizen`s U-visory Council and that they and persons now owning horses within the croiroaunity be asked for their recamanendation. Manager Kite recaurendcd that the proposed division of this parcel into t�,io parcels, the smaller of which i�,ould have 22,500 square feet of area and 150 feet o-� frontage along Valley View Road be approved. Air. Shultz moved that the division as proposed be approved. Nr_ Redpath seconded. A.11 voted aye. The rriotion carried. 2. Section 8, part of Cavan ment Lot 2, William Kocourek. Eden Prairie Road.. i4anager Hite reccna en ded that the division resulting in a parcel having the frontage of 120 feet and a depth of 225 feet be approved. YIr.. Redpath moved that the Council approve the proposed division. Air. Shultz seconded . All voted aye. The motion carried. 11. Claim Against Wal-Don EuiI-ders, Inc. Attorney Perbix recommended th. at the Village settle this claim against Wal-Don Builders, Inc. for $350.00. The claim was initially in the amount Of $716.00 and was for re.imbu_rsement of water studies in the Top View Addition. Mr. Shultz moved that the reco=erdation of the attorney be accepted. 1✓�.
