RESOLUTION NO. 232
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 8
TO CAMP RYMARLAND ON CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH ARE HERE-
INAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, Camp Rymarland hereinafter referred to as Camp did on
September 10, 1968 appear before the Village Council of the Village of
Eden Prairie requesting a "Special Use Permit to operate a Day Camp in the
Village of Eden Prairie on Highway #IOAnd legally described as follows:
All that part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7, Township 116 Worth
Range 22, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as fQhain:
Beginning at the Northwest corker of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section
7; thence South along the West line of said Section a distance of
1180.9 feet; thence- at right angles East a distance of 267.41 feet;
thence Northeasterly 1860.7 feet to a point in the North line of the
Southwest 1/4 of said Section 7, distant 1703 feet East of the point
,d -tagin tfng; thence West along the North line of said Southwest. 1/4 -
1703 feet to the point of beginning, EXCEPT that part described as
follows: Commencing at a "point on the West line of the Northwest 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7, Township. 116, Range 22, 10000.9
tfeet .South of the Northwest corner of said Northwest 1/4 of the South-
West 1/4; thence South on said West line- 1$0 feet; thence left at
right angles to said Wbst line a distance of 267.41 feet; theme to
the left at an angle of 39 degrees 24 minutes 35 seconds a distance
of 283.54 feet; thence West in a straight line a distance of 486.49
feet more or less to-the- point- of beginning.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Eden Prairie
as follows:
1 . That a Special Permit for the operation of a Day Camp on the
aforementioned property is hereby permitted on the following
terms and conditions:
A. That it be developed in accordance with the general plans
which are attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A".
B. That it be operated in accordance with the brochure furnished
to the Council and made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "B".
C. That it be operated in accordance with the standards set by
the American Camping Association, a copy of which is attached
hereto and marked Exhibit "C".
ADOPTED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie at
a regular meeting thereof held this 24th day of September 1968.
