RESOLUTION NO. 208
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A FLOOD PLAIN INFORMATION
STUDY BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION, STATE OF
MINNESOTA.
WHEREAS, the Village of Eden Prairie is a Village of approximately
36 square miles located within the County of Hennepin, and
WHEREAS, said Village is traversed by two creeks, namely, Purgatory
Creek and Riley Creek, and
WHEREAS, much of the Village flows into both of the aforementioned
creeks, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Eden Prairie understands that the Division
of Waters, Lands and Minerals of the Department of Conservation, State of
Minnesota, does make flood plain information studies free of charge,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Eden Prairie that af�. 0w request of the said Division of Waters, Lands and
Minerals of the Department of Conservation, State of Minnesota, that it complete
a Flood Plain Information Study of the Purgatory Creek and Riley Creek and
all tributary areas within the said Village of Eden Prairie.
ADOPTED by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie at a
regular meeting thereof held this ills-,day of May, 1968.
