RESOLUTION NO. 2019-108
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
2040 COMPREHENSIVE MUNICIPAL PLAN FROM RURAL TO LOW
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ON 1.05 ACRES AND EXPANDING THE MUSA
BOUNDARY TO INCLUDE 1.05 ACRES
WHEREAS, the City of Eden Prairie has prepared and adopted the 2040
Comprehensive Municipal Plan ("Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council authorized the City of Eden Prairie to put
its 2040 Comprehensive Plan into effect on August 29, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City Council put the 2040 Comprehensive Plan into effect on
October 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the proposal by Perry & Michelle Ryan is for a Comprehensive
Guide Plan Change from Rural to Low Density Residential on 1.05 acres and the
extension of the MUSA boundary to include 1.05 acres of property as legally described
on Exhibit A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Eden Prairie, Minnesota, hereby adopts the re guiding of property to Low Density
Residential, extension of MUSA boundary of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan based the
staff report dated September 5, 2019, the City Council memo dated October 1, 2019 and
subject to Metropolitan Council approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie this 1st day of
October, 2019.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
Property to be Reguided from Rural to Low Density Residential and to be included
in the MUSA Boundary:
That part of the East Yi of the Southwest Yi of the Southeast Yi of Section 29, Township
116 North, Range 22 West of the 5111 Principal Meridian lying North of the right-of-way
of U.S. Highway 169-212 and South and East of the center line of Eden Heights Road
EXCEPT the east 171 feet thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
