HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 167 - Relating to TH 169 - 08/22/1976 VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 167 A RESOLUTION RELATING TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 169 WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE. At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie held on the 22nd day of August, 1967, the following resolution was offered by Arthur W. Miller and seconded by David W. Osterholt , to-wit: WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 5, renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 169 within the corporate limits of the Village of Eden Prairie from F.A. I. 494 to 0.5 miles North of C.S.A.H. 61, and WHEREAS, copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk; and • WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incorporate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described: NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that the preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 5 renumbered Trunk Highway Number 169 within the limits of the Village of Eden Prairie be and hereby are approved.in part. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Council should reject the interchange design 8F at C.S.A.H. 61 and request: (A) Revised design to straight diamond, as shown by the plans of Brauer & Associates, Inc., on file with the Village Cll erk. (8) Construction of service road access to Greguson property on North side, East of C.S.A.H. 6,1 . (C) Extension of service road West from C.S.A.H. 61 on North side to provide connection to "old" T.K. 169. (D) Extension of service road West from C.S.A.H. 61 on South side to serve "Smith" property. Upon the call of the roll the following voted in favor of the Resolution David Osterholt, James Brown, Arthur Miller, Alvin Bren and Paul Redpgth.
