HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 146 - Resolution Requesting the Village Council to Establish a Policy of Charges and the Extent to Which He is to Furnish Minutes to Those Who Request Them - 11/23/1966 VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 146 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE VILLAGE COUNCIL TO ESTABLISH A POLICY OF CHARGES AND THE EXTENT TO WHICH HE IS TO FURNISH MINUTES TO THOSE WHO REQUEST TREK WHEREAS, the Village Clerk has requested the Village Council to establish a policy of what to charge, if any, and the extent to which he is to furnish minutes to those who request them, and WHEREAS, the printing of minutes, ordinances, and resolutions and furnishing certified copies involves the time and money of the Village, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that it shall henceforth be the policy • of the Council as follows: 1. That the Clerk shall have the authority to establish prices for copies of Ordinances and Resolutions as he deems fair and reasonable, having due regard for the time involved and the cost to the Village. 2. Be it further resolved that it shall be the general policy of the Village not to mail minutes out to parties upon their request but that copies of the minutes shall be made available to those indi- viduals who come to the Village Hall and ask for a copy. 3. Be it further resolved that the Clerk make a charge for all certified copies of Ordinances, Resolutions and Minutes, this charge to cover the cost of printing and/or time involved, as the case may be.
