WHEREAS, the Council of/4he Village of Eden Prairie has had requests for the use of the Village Hall , and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Village Council to set forth in writing certain rules and regulations governing the use of said Village Hall , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following rules and regulations shall govern the use of the Village Hall by various groups • within the Village: A. All requests by recognized non-profit organizations or civic groups desiring to use rooms of the Eden Prairie Village Hall shall be made in writing on an application form provided by the Village Clerk. Each application shall contain the following information: I . Name of organization requesting use of the Village Hall and a brief description of civic or community relationship of the group to the Village of Eden Prairie. 2. The name of the organization's president or chairman and his address and telephone number. 3. The purpose or nature of the proposed meeting. 4. The date and approximate time the meeting will convene and adjourn. 5. The name of the person who is to be in charge of the meeting and who will be responsible for the following: a) Obtaining a written permit authorizing the use of designated room or rooms. b) Securing necessary key for the Village Hall . c) Arranging and re-arranging tables, chairs or other furniture.
