WiMP,EAS, it has come to the attention of the Town Board of the Town. of Eden Prairie that there is pending before the Federal Aeronautics Commission an application for a seaplane base to be located on Bryantts Long Lake in the Totm of Eden Prairie, and V,TMRFAS, said board has reason to believe that other applications may follow, and URERFAS, said lake is in a highly developed residential area and is used by many people for swimming, fishing and boating purposes, and • THMI _,AS, to permit the landing of seaplanes on said lake would create a situation endangering the lives of many children and adults, NOVI, THEFEFOI?E, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Eden Prairie that it oppose the issuance of a permit for a seaplane base on the aforementioned Bryantts Long Lake. ADOPTED by the supervisorf3 of the Town of Eden Prairie at a regular meeting thereof held this day of July, 1961. Clary, Clerk TOWN OF EDEN PRAIR M HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 28 A RESOLUTION-AUTHORIZING-SALE OF TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS. WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Eden Prairie has entered into a contract known as contract -fi - 1961 Street Improvement Project, and WHEREAS, It Is necessary to obtain funds prior to completion of said project In order to make payments to the contractors under said contract, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Eden Prairie, Hennepin County, Minnesota, that pursuant to M. S. A. 1429.091 that It sell temporary Improvement bonds to the First National Bank of Hopkins In an amount not to exceed $60,000.00. BE 1T FURTHER RESOLVED, that said bonds be sold at an interest rate not to exceed four per cent (W.) per annum and that they be due on or before six (6) months from the date of Issue and callable at option of the Town, and that the Chairman and clerk of said Town be authorized to sign said bonds.
