AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA, AMENDING CITY CODE SECTION 7.01
AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE CITY CODE CHAPTER 1 AND SECTION 7.99, WHICH, AMONG OTHER
THINGS, CONTAIN PENALTY PROVISIONS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Eden Prairie City Code Section 7.01 is hereby amended to read:
SEC. 7.01. MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 169 AND 171 ADOPTED BY REFERENCE. Except
as otherwise provided in this Chapter, or in Chapters 6 and 8 of this Code, the
regulatory and procedural provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169 (commonly
referred to as the Highway Traffic Regulation Act) and Chapter 171, as amended
through Laws 1987, are hereby incorporated herein and adopted by reference,
including the penalty provisions thereof.
Section 2. City Code Chapter 1 entitled "General Provisions and Definitions
Applicable to the Entire City Code Including Penalty for Violation" and Section 7.99
are hereby adopted in their entirety, by reference, as though repeated verbatim
herein.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and
publication.
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie
on the 19th day of January , 1988, and finally read and adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City on the
2nd day of February , 1988.
