AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND LICENSING MECHANICAL
AMUSEMENT DEVICES AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 300.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. Section 1.B. of Ordinance 300 shall be amended to
read as follows :
"B_ "Amusement Centers " means the operation by any person, firm,
partnership or corporation of:
( 1) Four or more machines .
(2) For public use.
( 3) Upon premises solely within one enclosure.

SECTION 2. Section 9. B. of Ordinance 300 shall be amended to
read as follows :
"B. Maximum number of machines as defined in Section 1. A. (1) ,
(2) and (3) shall be limited to three ( 3) in number at any
one location or any one business establishment . "
This ordinance shall become effective January 1, 1977.
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Eden Prairie, this 14th day of September , 1976, and finally read,
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City on the 2P-th day of September 1976.

entirely of patents,plate matter and advertisements.(4)Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which
it purports to serve,has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers,has an average of at least 75%of its
total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local
post-office.(5)Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Eden Prairie in the County of Hennepin and it has its known ;

t itlit# 4 < Society.(7)Said newspaper has compiled with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates
of publication mentioned below.(8)Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior to January 1,
1976 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the
managing officer of said newspaper and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper.
