ORDINANCE NO. 206
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ZONING
AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 135
CREEKWOOD ESTATES

The Council of the Village of Eden Prairie does ordain as j
follows:
Section I. Appendix A of Ordinance No. 135 is amended by adding to
Section 26, Township 116, Range 22 as follows:
Located on 27.2 acres containing 52 lots, bordered on the
south by County Road 1, on the west by Creek Knoll Road,
on the north by Purgatory Creek and on the east by the
Pleasant Hi11 Cemetary in that part of the West 1/2 of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 26, Township 116, Range 22,
described as commencing at a point on the west line of
said Section 26, distant 1421.5 feet south from the north-
west corner thereof; thence east at right angles to said
west line 561.33 feet to the actual point of beginning;
thence north 81 degrees 50 minutes east (assuming said
west line as bearing north and south) a distance of 203.C5
feet; thence north 5 degrees 21 minutes west 284.84 feet;
thence north 84 degrees 39 minutes east, 155 feet, thence
south 5 degrees 21 minutes east, 277.21 feet to a line
bearing north 81 degrees 50 minutes east from the actual
point of beginning; thence north 81 degrees 50 minutes east,
273 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 133 feet west of the east line of said west
one-half of the northwest quarter; thence north along said
parallel line to an intersection with a line parallel with and
465.E feet north of the south line of the northwest quarter
of the northwest quarter of said Section 26, thence east
along the last mentioned parallel line 133 feet to the east
line of said west one-half of the northwest quarter, thence
north along said east line to the northeast corner of said
west one-half of the northwest quarter; thence west along
the north line there-of, to an intersection with the center
line of Purgatory Creek; thence southwesterly along the center
line of said creek to an intersection with a line drawn from
the actual point of beginning, to the northwest corner of said
Section 26; thence southeasterly along said last described
line to the actual point of beginning. Subject to restriction,
reservations and easements of record, if any.

The first reading was held at a regular meeting of the
Council of the Village of Eden Prairie this 27th day of February and
finally read, adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of
the Council of said Village on the 13th day of March, 1973.

has been the vice president and printer of the newspaper known as The Minnetonka•Rden Prairie
Sun and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (ll Said newspaper is printed in ' '` fi

space to at least 900 square inches. (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least 1
once each week. (3) Said newspaper has 5.0% of its news columns devoted to news of local Ore°
interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other
publication and is not made up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said d
newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least d
500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers, has an average of at least 75% of its total
circulation currently paid or no more than three months in arrears and has entry as second- I
class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Minne-
tonka and Village of Eden Prairie in Hennepin County and it has Its known office of issue '+

business hours for the gathering of news, sale of advertisements an e f s p a
maintained by the managing officer or persons in its employ and subject to his direction and
control during all such regular business hours and devoted exclusively during such regular +~ } x
business hours to the business of the newspaper and business related thereto. (6) Said newspaper
files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has
complied with all foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of
publication mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of
Minnesota prior to January 1. 1966 and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit In the form l ri
prescribed by the Secretary of State and signed by the publisher of said newspaper and sworn 1 i
to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper. .
He further states on oath that the printed Ordinance No. 206
hereto attached as a part hereof was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed
and published therein in the English language, once each week, for A71e successive weeks;
