AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING A PERMIT BEFORE LIGHTING A BONFIRE
OR OUTDOOR RUBBISH FIRE ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY IN

THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE DOES ORDAI14: z
Section 1 . Ordinance No.104- is hereby amended by adding the
following:
Section 6A. Bonfires and Outdoor Rubbish Fires.
Subd.a. of Section 23.1 of the Fire Prevention Code is
amended to read as follows:
a) Permit Required. No person shall kindle or maintain
any bonfire or rubbish fire or authorize any such fire to be
kindled or maintained on or in any public street, alley, road
or other public ground or on any private property in other
than an approved container without a permit or other proper r
authorization. During construction or demolition of buildings
or structures no waste materials or rubbish shall be disposed
Gf by burning on the premises or in the immediate vicinity
without having obtained a permit or other proper authorization.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after puhi i cati on.

of Eden Prairie this 26th day o-7 August, 1969, and finally read,
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of the Council
of said village on the ( 9th day of September 1969.
