M VILLAGE COUNCIL OF M VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2 shall be amended to read as
follows:
Section 3. That from time to time the Village Council may
designate by resolution such lard or lands as it may deem desirable or proper
for use as public dumping places wherein and whereon the matter described in
Section 2 of this ordinance may be deposited as hereinafter provided. Any

person desiring to operate a public dump upon such land may make application F

in writing to the Village Manager for a license therefor. Such application
shall give the name and address of the applicant, a description of the land to
be used, the manner in which such use is supposed to be made, and either evidence
or ownership in applicant, or written permission of the owner to so use the land.

Tha application shall be accompanied by a license fee of $100.00. The Village
Manager may, in his discretion, grant or deny such application. All licenses
shall be issued by the Village Manager and shall expire on the 30th day of June
next following the granting of the same unless sooner revoked by the Village
Manager.
Section 2. Section 1, Subdivision 1 of Ordinance No. 3 is hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of t'Town Clerk" and "Village
Council" in lieu of "Town Board".
' Section 3. Subdivision 1. Section 3, Subdivision 3 of Ordinance
No. 5 is hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager* in lieu of "Town
Clerk".
Subdivision 2. Section L, Subdivision 2 of Ordinance
No. 5 is hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager" and "Village Council"
in lieu of "Town Clerk" and "Town Board".
Subdivision 3. Section 3, Subdivision 9 of Ordinance
No. 5, as amended by Ordinance No. 56, is hereby amended by substituting "Village
Manager" in lieu of "Town Clerk".
Section 4. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 20 is hereby, amended by substitu-
ting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Town Clerk".
Section 5. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 29 is hereby amended by substitu-
ting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clark".
r Section 6. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 30 is hereby amended by substitu-
ting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Engineer".
Section 7. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 32 is hereby amended by substitu-
ting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 8. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3L is hereby amended by substitu-
ting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk". j
Section 9. Section 1, Subdivision 1 of Ordinance No. 35 is hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Councilf?. '
Section 10. Subdivision 1. � a Section 3 Subdivision 1• Section L, Sub-
divisions 1 and l(f); and Section 60 Subdivision 1, of Ordinance No. 36 are hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Council".
Subdivision 2. Section 4, Subdivision 1 (c) (3) of Ordinance
( No. 36 is hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village

Ordinance No. L5 are hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu

Section 13. Subdivision 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 97, as

amended by Ordinance No. 105 is amended to read as follows:
Section 2. Appointments. The Chiefof the Fire Department and the
Assistant Chief and the Fire Marshall shall be appointed by the Village Manager.
Firemen and probationary firemen shall be appointed by the members of the depart-
ment, subject to confirmation by tha Village Manager. Firemen shall continue as
members of the department during good behavior, and may be removed by the manager.
Subdivision 2. The first sentence of Section 3 of
Ordinance No. 97 is amended to read as follows: 'i`he office of. Fire Marshall may
be held by the Chief or Assistant Chief if the Village Manager approves.
Subdivision 3. Sections L, 5 and 8 of Ordinance
Ito. 97 are hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of
"Council".

Section 1L. Ordinance No. 101 is hereby amended by substituting
"Village Manager" in lieu of "Building Inspector".
Section 15. Sections 3, uA, and 5 of Ordinance No. 102 is hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 16. Sections L (f), 5 and 6 of Ordinance No. 103 are hereby

amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 17. Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No. 106 are hereby amended
by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk". ¢
Section. 18. Sections 9, 10 and 11 of Ordinance No. 113 are hereby
amended by substituting T'Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 19. Subdivision 1. Sections 4, 5, 61 9 and 12 of Ordinance
No. 119 are hereby amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village
,-;ngineer".
Subdivision 2. Section 7 of Ordinance No. 119 is hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 20. Sections h, 5 and 6 of Ordinance No. 120 are hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in liau of "Village Council".
Section 21. Sections 1, 3, 4 and 7 of Ordinance No. 122 are hereby
amended by substituting "Village Manager" in lieu of "Village Clerk".
Section 22. Except as heretofore amended, in each and every case in
any ordinance wherein it refers to "Town Board'?, it shall hereafter refer to
"Village Cour_cil".
FIRST READ at a regular meeting of the Council of the Village of
Eden Prairie this 1Lth day of January, 1969, and finally read, adopted, and
ordered published at a regular meeting of the ouncil of said Village on the F
