HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
ORDINANCE NO. 112
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC RECREATION AND
PARK COMMISSION FOR THE VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE,
MINNESOTA and AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 45.
The Council of the Village of Eden Prairie ordains as follows:
Section 1 , Subdivision I is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section I , Subdivision I . There is hereby created a Recreation and
Park Z!arnm ssion for the Village of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, consisting
of nine (9) members to be appointed as follows:
One ( I ) member from the Board of Education of Independent School
District No. 272 to be appointed by the Board for a term of three (3)
years; one ( 1 ) member from the Village Council to be appointed by the
Council for a term of three (3) years; seven (7) members at large,
three (3) for terms of three (3) years; two (2) for terms of two (2) p
years; and two (2) for terms of one ( 1 ) year. At least one of the I
appointments shall be a woman and one shall be a member of the Eden
Prairie Athletic Association. All appointments are to be made by
the mayor with the approval of the Village Council . Subsequent
appointments shall be made for three (3) year terms or until
successors are appointed and qualified. I
First read at a regular meeting of the Council of the Village of
Eden Prairie this 26th day of March, 1968, and finally read, adopted and
ordered published at Aregv ar meeting of the Council of said Village on
the day of �, 1968.
