AN ORD 1 NANCE RELAT 1 NG TO ZONING AND AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8 OF THE VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE
ORDINANCE NO. 98
The Council of the Village of Eden Prairie does ordain as follows:
Section I . That part of the West One-half (Wj) of the Northeast
Quarter (RE4) of Section Sixteen % ( 16), Township 116 North, Range 22
West, lying North of a line parallel to and 100 feet North of a line
described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said
Section 16; thence running South on the East line of said Section 16
for a distance of 1 ,642.Q4 feet, which is the point of beginning of
the line to be described; thence running Westerly at an angle of
80 degrees, 26 minutes, 12 seconds to the right for a distance of
1 ,519.33 feet; thence to the left on the arc of a 10-001 curve
having a central angle of 160-40, to the West line of the Northeast
one-quarter of said Section 16 and there terminating.
That part of the East one-half (E-g) of the Northeast Quarter (NE4)
of Section 16, Township 116 North, Range 22 West, lying North of a
line parallel to and 100 feet North of a line described as follows:
C Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 16; thence running
South on the East line of said Section 16 for a distance of 1 ,642.04 feet,
which is the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence
running westerly at an angle of 800-26'-12" to the right for a distance
of 1 ,519.33 feet; thence to the left on the arc of a 10-00' curve having
a central angle of 160401 to the West line of the Northeast One Quarter
of said Section 16 and there terminating.

(SW4) of Section 10, and Section 15 lying Northerly of State Highway
No. 5, Twp. 116, Range 22, lying Southerly and Southwesterly of the
following descei bed line: Commencing at the point of intersection
of the East line of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of the Northwest
Quarter (NW4) of Section 15 and North line of State Highway No. 5,
thence North along said East line to the Southeast (SE) corner of
Southwest Quarter (SW--) of Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section 10;
thence Northwesterly tNWly) in a straight line to a point which
point is 900 feet North of and 450 feet East of Southwest corner of
the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section 10;
thence West along said last described line to said West line of said
Quarter quarter; thence Northwesterly (NWly) in a straight line to a
point on the North Iine of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE4) of Section 9, which point is 300 feet East of the Northwest
(NW) corner of said Quarter quarter; thence West along said North. line
to the Northwest (NW) corner of said Quarter quarter; thence North-
westerly (NWly) on a line drawn from the Northwest (NW) corner of the
Southeast Quarter (SEJX) of the Southeast Quarter (SE+) which if extended
tvould passed through the center of said Section 9 to the Railroad right-of-way
and there terminating; thence Southwesterly (SWly) along said Railroad
right-of-way to the West (W) 1 i ne of said Southeast Quarter (SE+) and
there terminating.
All of the above described property being located in Hennepin County,
Minnesota, shall be, and hereby is, removed from Residential Agricultural
(R-A), Public, Open Development, Conservation and Reclamation District (P OC)
and General Industrial & Manufacturing District (M-2) to Special Industrial
District (S-1 ) adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Eden Prairie
