THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF EDEN PRAIRIE DOES ORDAIN:
�1 Section 1 . Ordinance No. 9 of the Village of Eden Prairie
y is amended as follows:
Section 1 . Appointment and Organization. A Zoning and
V Planning Commission is hereby established and vested with: such administra-
tive authority as is herein provided. The Commission shall consist of
six citizen freeholders who have been residents in the Vi ! !age for at
least three years and one member of the council . The Village Engineer
shall be an ex off icio member of that Commission and each member, except
ex officio member, shall have the right to vote on all matters before
the Commission. The six citizen members shall be- appointed by the Village
Council for a term of three years. The Council member is to be selected
by the Council for such term as!the Council may determine. The Commission
shall serve without compensation other than such compensation as its members
may receive for other services performed for the Village. Each citizen
member shall be appointed for a term of three years.
the citizens who are members of the Commission on the effective date
of this amendment shell continue to be and act as members of the commission
until the expiration of the terms for which they were originally appointed.

Any citizen member may be removed by a two-thirds vote of the
Village Council . The secretary of the Council shalt act as secretary
of the Commission and the Village Attorney shall act as legal counsel
for the Commission.
