RESOLUTION NO. 99-231
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION
OF LAND FROM THE BERG FAMILY
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have designated the Riley Creek Valley as
open space land in the City's Park and Open Space Plan; and
WHEREAS,the City of Eden Prairie desires to protect that valley in its natural condition
as much as is financially feasible; and
WHEREAS, Scott A. Berg and Darcy Rae Muniz are the heirs of Don and Shirley Berg,
and have inherited their parent's estates Outlots A and B of Cedar Forest First Addition; and
WHEREAS, Scott A. Berg and Darcy Rae Muniz wish to donate Outlots A and B to the
City of Eden Prairie for park purposes; and
WHEREAS, Scott A. Berg and Darcy Rae Muniz have provided the City with Quit
Claim Deeds transferring ownership to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Eden Prairie City Council does
accept this donation for the benefit of its citizens.
