RESOLUTION NO. 97-34
A RESOLUTION CONCURRING IN THE JURISDICTIONAL TRANSFERS
OF CSAH 18 AND TH 101 BETWEEN
HENNEPIN COUNTY AND THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, Hennepin County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation
(MnDOT) have negotiated roadway jurisdictional transfers in various sections of
Hennepin County including roadways that serve and are adjacent to the City of
Eden Prairie; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eden Prairie has reviewed these jurisdictional transfers
and find that they will provide a positive impact to the transportation system that
serves the City of Eden Prairie.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Eden Prairie City Council
concurs with Hennepin County's request to revoke that portion of County State
Aid Highway 18 (CSAH 18) between I-494 and the southern terminus of CSAH
18, and to designate TH 101 as CSAH 101 from the intersection with TH 12 and
thence southerly to the Hennepin/Carver County line lying partly within the City
of Eden Prairie.
ADOPTED by the Eden Prairie City Council on March 4, 1997.
