The Zoning & Planning Commission met on March 2, 1965 in the Village
Hall at 8 o'clock P. M.
Present were:
A. W. Miller, Chairman Dr. John H. Wright
Anthony Hirt David W. Dale
Cecil Cruse Ralph Nesbitt
James C. Brown Quentin K. Wood
ORDER OF BUSINESS:
MINUTES
It was moved by Ralph Nesbitt and seconded by Dr. John. H. Wright
to approve the minutes of February 2nd as published with the following
correction:
The minutes of February 2, 1965 should have included the
Oath of Office for Cecil Cruse and David Dale which was
administered by Clerk James Brown.
Motion carried.
AGENDA
It was moved by David Dale and seconded by Dr. John Wright to ask a
responsible person to furnish the Board with the Agenda as per policy.
After Messrs. Brown and Wood joined the meeting it was decided the
Agenda would come from the Village Hall as scheduled.
Motion carried.
NORTHERN CONTRACTING
A request for a Black Topping Plant was made by Northern Contracting
Company. Mr. Cruse abstained from the discussion and the voting.
It was moved by Ralph Nesbitt and seconded by Dr. John Wright to
recommend issuance of a yearly renewable permit to Northern Contracting
Company for operation of a Black Top Plant at the yard and office site
between the Northwestern Tracks and Milwaukee 'Tracks in an area now zoned
M-2.
Motion carried.
DON KRAL - BELLHURST 2ND ADDITION
Mr. Kral and Mr. Carter appeared to request consideration of a
private sanitary system in Bellhurst 2nd addition. They were asked to
present in writing what they would do.

MINING OPERATIONS
It was rmved by Anthony Hirt and seconded by Dr. John Wright to
«� recommend removal of all references to "mining" in Ordinance No. 8.
In order to secure good end use of the-land, mining operations could
be done under terms of Ordinance No. 36 without changing the zoning.
r Ordinance No. 36 should be updated to provide closer controls on the
broader coverage.

mend elimination of the interchange at Rowland Road & 62nd Crosstown
o� including bridge and to request a Frontage Road along the 62nd Cross-
town in Eden Prairie.
Motion carried.

It was moved by David Dale and seconded by Cecil Cruse to meet the
1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, the first meeting of the month to be
Open Agenda Zoning Meeting, and the second meeting of the month to be a
Closed Agenda Planning Meeting.
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 12 Midnight.
