ZONING-& PLANNING CO1;XISSION Meeting was held March 5th in
A Room 308 in the New School Building at 8 o'clock. Thw following
Members were present:
A. W. Miller,, Chairman Hank Schutrop
Tony Hirt Albert Picha
Ralph Nesbitt Al Bruce
ft itz Holasek Elmer E. Clark, Clerk
John Wright Archie Carter, Engineer
The Meeting was called to order by the Chairman Mr. A.W. killer
who then called for the reading of the minutes of the last meeting.
The minutes were read and approved.
The Alexander Const. Co., represented by Mr. Bill Grimme appeared
in regard to the matter o emporary Black Top Mixing; plant in the Sam
Glenn (estate) gravel pit on County Road #60. The matter was discussed
for some time with Mr. Grimme and three adjoining property owners$ Mr-Grimm
offered to take any adjoining Property owners and any Board members on
an investigating trip of other plants aI ':k)sgx near byy howeverg the
matter was tabled and to be at a Special meeting! March 1�th 1963.
A MOTION was duly made by Mr. Schutrop and seconded by Tony Hirt
that the Application of Alexander Const. Co., hn for Black Top Mixing
plant in Sam Glenn's Gravel Pit be heard at a SPECIAL Meeting of The $
Zoning Board in Room 308 School Bldg at 8 o'clock P. M. all adjoing
property owners to be notified of meeting.
MOTION Carried
A MOTION was duly made and seconded that the Bldg. Inspectar Air.
Mr. Trutna be instructed to issue a building permit to Miss Kvid to build
a home on Lot 7 Birch Island Acres. Trutna & Lansing to look into
proper placement of building and Sewerage.
Motion Carried
A MOTION was duly made by Tony Hirt and seconded by John Wright
that the Village Council be requested to have the Constables instructed
to investigate the Schmidt Junk Yard on the Town Line Road 1 mile ti`Jest of
County Road ;y` 4 with instructions to have the operation discontinued
and Irmediatly cleaned ups because of violation of Village Ordinance.
Motion Carried
A MOTION was duly made and seconded that the Plat of Gordon Stodola
showing sketch of land and location be continued at the SPECIAL Meeting March
19th-1963 Motion Carried
Engineer Carter to cbeck into operation of B & R Co's gravel pit.

A KOTION was duly made and seconded that the Clerk ask Attorney
P erbix for a i°mitten opinion on what a out Lot really means and the
purposes it can be used for. Alotion carried
Edward Smetana having sold his farm and reserved 3/4 of an
acre for a home for himself, appeared wit.b o sketch of the property.
Future road planning was discussed and the matter was tabled until the
purchaser of the farm and Mr. Smetana appear at a Special Meeting on
L'larch 19th at the School House Room US.

A hMOTION was duly made by Tony Hirt and seconded by Albert Picha
that the Building Inspector 1r. Trutna prepare a list of all basements
and garages that are being used for homes, and then contact the owners
in regard to their intentions of completing their homes, in as much as
ORDINANCE # 8 of the Village of Eden prairie has been violated. 30 day
time limit be given for reply to Inspectors request.
Motion carried
A 1l:OTION was duly made by F. G. Holasek and seconded by Henry
Schutrop that the application of Robert Eichholt for the rezoning of
4 acres of land in STARRING ADDITION from acres to. 1- acres. as described:
That part of the SE-J of the SVIJ of Sec.21 T-116 —R22 Village of Eden kxxk
Prairie Minnesttaldetailed description shown on application--be recommended
for publication and hearing date be set as April 2 1963.
