RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvement:
I.C. 52-226 - 1991-1992 Maintenance Materials and Water Treatment Chemicals
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law. Those bids received are shown on
the attached Summary of Bids; and.
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends award of Contract as follows:
1. MnDOT 2341 Mix Commercial Asphalt Co. 108,000.00
2. Class 5 Aggregate-Virgin J.L. Shiely Company 3.59/Ton
3. Class 5 Aggregate-Recycled Midwest Asphalt Company 2.50/Ton
4. Class 2 Aggregate J.L. Shiely Company 142360.00
5. Quicklime Cutler-Magner Company 150,637.50
6. Ferric Sulfate Feed-Rite Controls, Inc. 44,586.00
• 7. Liquid Chlorine Feed-Rite Controls, Inc. 17,682.00
8. Liquid Carbon Dioxide Liquid Carbonic Corp. 2,961.00
9. Polyphosphate Feed-Rite Controls, Inc. 14,980.00
10. Flouride. Dixie Petro-Chem, Inc. 611475.00
as the lowest responsible bidders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Eden Prairie City Council that the Mayor and
City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a Contract with the above named
suppliers for the amount listed in accordance with the specifications thereof approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the Director of Public Works.
