HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2000-110 - Authorizing Reduction in Time Warner System Upgrade Performance Bond from $300,000 to $100,000 - 07/18/2000 CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE HENNEPIN COUNTY,MIINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-110 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REDUCTION IN TIME WARNER SYSTEM UPGRADE PERFORMANCE BOND FROM$300,000 TO $100,000 WHEREAS,the City of Eden Prairie is a member of the Southwest Suburban Cable Commission(SWSCC); and WHEREAS,the SWSCC cable franchise ordinance approved by all member cities including Eden Prairie includes a requirement that Time Warner provide a$300,000 performance bond through the completion of the system upgrade; and WHEREAS, each member City has the sole discretion and authority to reduce the performance bond amount to $100,000 upon the completion of the system upgrade; and WHEREAS,Time Warner has informed the SWSCC that the system upgrade has been completed; and WHEREAS,the SWSCC believes the upgrade is completed based upon representations made by Time Warner and has asked each member City to review this matter. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie hereby authorizes the reduction of the Time Warner system upgrade performance bond from$300,000 to $100,000.
