Mr. Virg Muller anpeared before the ro�snri l and annlori_zed that due to the storm he was not able to rest a tvnewrit_ten renort nrepared for us but he did nrosent an oral renort on their rind.inrs to date on a nossible location of a sewage treatment plant ir. the Vi llare of Eden Prairie. Thev felt the site chosen by the Minnetonka-F.ngi.neers dil not lend itself to full Village nartic;nation. Tr also had some other Problems whi^_h would become Fden Prairie's problem should the Plant be put in this location. Thev had tentatively studied four sites on different areas along the Minnesota T?i.ver which tbev beleive would lend themselves much better to the Village of Fden prairie's use of the facilit�r and also nrovide a much easier citizen reaction to the location of a nlant . Mr. Muller to have the renort in a tvnewritten form available for the Council as soon as nossible. The Council will then act on the renort as no action was taken on the oral renort . (2-14-66) STRF,F,T RAMFS Mr. nsterholt presented a couv of the Bloomington Street Control Ordinance to the Council and it was agreed that the Zoning and Planning Commission shoiild take this and look it over as Pertains to the naming of streets in FdPn prairie so that a pattern can he established . This was agreed on and Mr. Miller took the renort so that it could be hancfiled at the next Zoning and planning Commission meeting. (1-1 6-66) TEMAN , FEEDER'S, INC. (3-23-66) MININr, FEE -i� The pl.anninrr & Zoning Commission had recommended to the Council. the establishment of a fee for the mining of 57rave1 or other nroducts in the Village of Eden prairie. The Y monev to be used for Village roar] repairs. The collection to start January 1 , 1967. Motion by Kenneth E. Anderson seconded by Alvin J. Rren to request the Village Attorney to request an opinion from the State of Minnesota Attornev general on the legal itv of Eden Prairie establishing an Ordinance which would allow the Village of Fden PrairieI to collect a fee such as $ .05 per cubic vard from the earth mining one-rations in the Village. As soon as the opinion has been received by the Attornev he is to renort to the Village Colinci.l. . Motion carried . (3-24-66) 7.ONTNr SURVEY The recauest from the Zoning F. Planning Commission was read to the Council and the Council agreed that this survev should be made. Mavor Asterholt was authorized to contact Mr. Bren in regard to the survey. Miller seconded by Alvin J. Rren to allocate un to 5133.80 for the'- printing of summer recreation schedules. Motion carried .
