Rogers, Mayor James C. Brown, Clerk Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee Rolf E. Haugen, Treasurer Alvin J. Bren, Trustee Edna M. Holmgren, Bookkeeper Albert L. Bruce, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney Quentin K. Wood, Engineer ORDER OF BUSINESS MINUTES A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson to accept the minutes of the January 12th and 16th meetings as written. Motion carried. VOUCHERS A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin. Bren to approve vouchers #2092 through 2096 for payment. Motion carried. SCHOOL BUS SHELTER i e Mr. Gordon Englund appeared requesting permission from the Council for the Lions Club to erect a school bus shelter for children on County Road 1 end � Starring Lane. A motion was made by Albert Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to waive the building permit fee for this shelter which is to be built after the school board gets approval from adjoining property owners and the site is approved by Engineer Wood. ' Motion carried. FIRE ARMZ ORDINANCE A motion was made by Albert Bruce and seconded by Alvin Bren to refer this f ordinance back to Attorney Perbix to more clearly define Section I as to size of buckshot, etc. and have the second reading at the February 9th meeting. Motion carried. WAGES - ROAD CREW A motion was made by Albert Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to increase wages of the road crew effective April 1, 1965 as follows: Road Foreman $520 per Mo. Heavy Equipment Operator 467 Public Works Maintenance 457 Temporary Help 2.40 per Hr. i Motion carried. January 27, 1965 PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION RECOGNITION PLAQUE Mr. Donald Nygaard, Chairman of the Park & Recreation Commission presented a plaque to the Village from Commission members in recognition of those who have significantly contributed to Park & Recreation in Eden Prairie. ESCROW INTEREST TRANSFER ENGINEERING FEES TRANSFER A moticn was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Albert Bruce to transfer interest in the amount of $1,515.35 from the Escrow account to the General Fund and engineering fees in the amount of $829.12 from the escrow account to the Street Fund . Following is the breakdown of engineering fees: $347.77 Bellhurst Addition 481.42 Heritage Park Motion carried. FEE - TREASURER Li A motion was made by Albert B mice and seconded by Alvin B ren to increase the Treasurer's fee to $60 per. month as of January 1, 1965. W 0 Motion carried. i c?5 HOURLY RATE - CONSTABLES a.� A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to increase the hourly rate for the Constables to $2.40 per hour as of January 1, 1965.. U Motion carried . FEE - MAYOR AND TRUSTEES A motion was made by James Brown and seconded by Albert Bruce to increase the Mayor and Trustees' fees as follows effective January 1, 1965: Mayor $80.00 Trustees 60.00 Motion carried. i OFFICE GIRL I It was decided to hire Mrs. Loretta Seavall as an office girl at the salary of $260.00 per month. r The meeting adjourned at 11:0 5 P. m. 4am=es�C..
