Rogers, Mayor James C. Brown, Clerk Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee Rolf E. Haugen, Treasurer Albert L. Bruce, Trustee Edna M. Folmgren, Bookkeeper Alvin J. Bren, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney Archie Carter, Engineer ORDER OF BUSINESS : MINUTES i A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren tr, approve the minutes of November loth as written with the following corrections: (.a) James Brown abstains from voting on all tractor and truck bids. (b) Albert Bruce made the motion for "Telephone Service For Village Hall" instead of Alvin Bren. Motion carried. INSURANCE - VILLAGE HALL } A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by James Brown to order a fire insurance policy from Harold Ferris Agency for the Village hall. as follows: $54,000 Building 6,000 Contents Motion carried. CW!TRACT - MUNICIPAL COURT A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to approve contract for Hennepin County Municipal Court on space rental with the .following thanes: (a) Use of Council room to be for daytime only. j (h) Contract to run for calendar year of 1965. Motion carried. VILLAGE INSURANCE POLICIES - SUI1Y11ARY The Clerk was instructed to ask the Harold Ferris Agency to summarize all Village insurance policies held at the present time and report to the Council. i November 24, 1964 (Page 2) IM—WNDING ORDINANCE. #41 - BUILDING CODE (a) Attorney Perbix_ was instructed to draw up an ordinance amending Ordinance #41 to cover Volume No. 1, 1964, UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AND STANDARDS OF TNTERNATIONAL CONFERErCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS. (b) Attorney Perbix was instructed to write a Letter to International �,bnference of Building Officials in regard to rules of setting grades in construction. LICENSES FOR 1965 - BEER - OFF SALE BEER - ON SALE CIGARETTES A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to renew all licenses for Beer, Off Sale - Beer, On Sale - Cigarettes for 1965 as applied. z Motion. carried . LICENSE FOR 11965 - DRIVE-IAT THEATER B ren A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin/to issue a license for the Flying Cloud Drive-In Theater for 1965• Motion carried. GRAVEL PIT LICENSE FOR 1965 All Travel pit license applications were referred to Engineer Carter for approval of grades. i PURCHASE - PAPER TOWEL CABINETS A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Breen to approve g purchase of two paper towel cabinets for about $10 each. Motion carried. TRUCK AMID SNOW PLOW BID A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Albert Bruce to accept the low bid on truck and snow plow. Lotion carried. TRACTOR, MOWER, SWEEPER BID A motion was made by Albert Bruce to table all bids on the tractor, mower and sweeper. A motion was made by Albert Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to adjourn the; meeting at 11:45 P. m. *Jes C. Brown, Clerk ��_ Nover..ber 28, 1964 s The Council held a special meeting on Saturday November 28, 1964 at the Village Hall. Present were: Donald A. Rogers, Mayor Alvin J. Bren, Trustee Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee James C. Brown, Clerk Albert L. Bruce, Trustee ORDER OF BUSINESS : SALARY - BUILDING INSPECTOR A motion was made by Albert Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to hire the Building Inspector on a full time basis at $5,000 per year effective December 1, 1964 and 7¢ per mile traveling expense. Motion carried. SPECIAL USE PERMIT - ROSEMOUNT ENGINEERING A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Albert Bruce to grant Rosemount Engineering Co. a special use permit on their Eden Prairie site in a SI zone.
