The Village Council of Eden Prairie net in room 308 in the Eden Prairie
High School on February 11. 1964 at 8 o'clock p. a.
Present were:
Donald A. Rogers, Mayor James C. Brown, Clerk
Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee Rolf E. Rougen, Treasurer
Al Bruce, Trustee Edna M. Hologren, Bookkeeper
Alvin Bren, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney
Archie Carter, Engineer

A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Al Bruce to accept
the minutes of the Janaury 23rd and 29th meetings as written.
Motion carried.

A notion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to approve
vouchers f 1436 through 1482 for payment.

A motion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to issue a
special use permit to Mrs. Lars Christiansen, Route 1, Boa 181F, Sunrise Circle.
Hopkins to operate a beauty shop at that address.
Motion carried.
ALP IN ESTATES
A motion was nude by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to approve
the preliminary plat for Alpine Estates, Hendrickson Bros., 5644 Whited Avenue,
Hopkins.
Notion carried.
EICKHOLT ADDITION
A motion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to approve
the preliminary plat for the Eickholt Addition with the recommendation that
ground elevation be raised to satisfactory height for drainage prior to issuance
of building permits.
Motion carried.

Mr. Riley appeared to request a hearing on re-secning the Rol+ property.
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Al Bruce to 2 a hearing
darte at the next regular meeting on March 19,1964.

A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to accept
and sign the resolution for lighting 62nd St. Crosstown and Interstate #494.
Motion carried.
HB.LCRESST COWS
1. A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to
approve the plat for Arizona Land Co., J. Gullikson, Pres., and Leo W. Lund,
Secy-Treas.
Motion carried.
2. A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bran to ask
the mayor and clerk to sign the contract for development of Hillcrest Courts.

HAROLD FMVUS►LIABILM INSURANZ
A motion was made by Al Bret and seconded by James Brown to instruct Mr. Ferris
to put a binder on the liability policy-, town liability endorsement, to the stat-
utory limits of coverage.
Notion carried.
GRAVEI, PITS-SDINA SEWER
Discussion was held on all gravel pits in the Village. The clerk was instructed
to meet with the PAgineer to set up permits for the new year.
Engineer Carter gave a report on a proposed 12" sanitary sewer on County Road
#18, which would be on a temporary basis to last from 5 to 10 years.
CLAYTQR HIT
A motion was node by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Brea to approve
the preliminary plat of Braces Bit presented by Clayton Brace. A filing fee of
$25.00 was received.
Motion carried.
VILLAGE HALL SITE & PLANSS
A citizens group from .Eden Heights appeared voicing their opposition to the
proposed Village Hall site on County Road 4. No action was taken on their request,
the site remains the same. Mr. Miller from Riek-Carroll appeared with acre plans
for the building.
VILLAGE MEEK
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to set
February 25, 1964 as the next Council mooting date.
Motion earried.

A notion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to instruct
Bugineer Carter to i"est3gate a possible route of high power transuission line
along County Road #18 and to prepare naps of tentative route.
Motion carried.
