The Village Council of Eden Prairie met in room 308 of the Eden Prairie
High School on September 10, 1963 at 8 o•clock p. m.
Present were:
Donald A. Rogers, Mayor Rolf E. Haugen, Treasurer
Alvin J. Bren, Trustee Edna M. Holmgren, Bookkeeper
Kenneth E. Anderson, Trustee W. Harlan Perbix, Attorney
Elmer E. Clark, Cler Archie Carter, Engineer
BARER OF BUSINESS:
MINUTES
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to accept
the minutes of the last meeting as written.
Motion carried.
VOUCHERS
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren that checks
#1188 through #1230 be issued.
Motion carried.
SCHOENFELD
Mr. Schoenfeld appeared representing Crossroads, Center, Inc., who deaira
the site at the intersection of Highway #169-212 and Interstate #494 for a shopping
center. The matter was tabled until the September 18th meeting.
RESOLUTIONS HS and #66 ,HIGHWAY DES.
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bred to sign
Resolutions #65 and #66 presented by W. Crawford, Minnesota State Highway Department
as follows:
#63 Resolution to approve temporary plans for connecting up #S on the went
and #169 on the east with a cloverleaf.
#66 Resolution in regard to parking regulations.
Motion carried.
GLEASOIJ SAND & QMM
Mr. Moorehouse appeared representing Keith James and Warren Schultz in regard
to a special use permit to remove sand and gravel from property on Highway f5. A
motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to refer this matter
to the Zoning and Planning Commission.
Motion carried.
OAK RIW9 ROAD
Mr. Carl Kraemer appeared requesting Engineer, Carter to inform residents on
Oak Ridge Road of ultimate planar. This was done.

V IMAGE HAZE,
Discussion was held in regard to necessary work to get a bond issue on the
December ballot. Attorney, Perbia will check about notices if necessary, and
Treasurer, Haugen will do some figuring on estimated cost of $50,000,
PEARSON
Mr. Pearson appeared requesting acceptance of a plat on Anderson bake. This
matter was referred to the Zoning & Planning Commission.
KOSTECKA - G MNN RIDGE HILLS
Mr. Kostecka requested return of escrow monies in the amourst of $4,800.00
which will be released when the road job is finished in Golden Ridge Hills.
TOWN LINE ROAD
Mr. M m r Mathison appeared requesting upgrading of the Town Line Road. No
action was taken at this time.
KINGS COURT - 2ND ADDITION
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to approve I
preliminary plat of Kings Court - 2nd Addition subject to preparation of contract
to cover completion of Kingston Drive to Holly Road forward to completed portion
of Kingston Drive. i
Motion carried.
JANXE
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to accept
the preliminary plat known as 1st Addition located on County Road #18 and Lake q
View Road.
Motion carried.
GRAVEL PITS
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to Instruct
Engineer, Carter to check all gravel pits In Eden Prairie.
Motion carried.
The rexpest for a special use permit by Skelly Oil Co. was denied until the
property is re-zoned. f
A motion was made by Alvin Bann and seconded by aemeth Anderson to sign
Resolution #62 in regard to assessment of Paradise Valley, Prairie Shores, autcher's
First Addition, Kings Court Second Addition and Sterling Field street projects.
Notion carried.
