The Village Council of Eden Prairie met in room 308 of the Eden Prairie
High School for a special meeting at 7 o'clock P. M. with the regular meeting
follow-3-no-C. at 8 o' clock P. M.
Present were:
Donald Rogers, Mayor Elmer E. Clark, Clerk
Al Bruce, Trustee L. E. Whitmer, Assessor
Alvin Bren, Trustee Edna M. Holingren, Bookkeeper
Kenneth Anderson, Trustee Archie Carter, Engineer
ORDER. OF BUSINESS:
ASSESSOR'S BOOKS
I
A special meeting was held at 7 o'clock for the purpose of closing j
Assessor's books and signing same for the County Auditor. A motion was made
and seconded that the Council instruct the Clerk,Mayor, and Trustees to sign
same, l
Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45 P. M.
NURSING
.. A motion was made by Elmer Clark and seconded by Alvin Bren to approve
Rural Hennepin County Nursing in Eden Prairie for another year.
Motion carried.
FIRE CALLS
Discussion was held in regard to a File card system with each of the three
f ire departments that serve Eden Prairie. Each dwelling would have a number
to better locate in case of fire or an emergency. No action was taken at this
time.
SS UI�OOK ROAD
Permission was granted Road Commissioner, Stodola to purchase a culvert for
approximately $70.00 for one property owner which is to be billed to him for
payment in six months. Work is being done on this road and it is necessary to
install this culvert now in order to complete the job.
ACETYLENE TORCH
A motion was made by Al Bruce and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to grant
Road Commissioner, Stodola permission to purchase an acetylene torch for $150.00
Motion carried.

COACHLIGHT MANOR
The following corrections in Coachlight Manor were agreed upon by
Mr. Norman Undestad:
1. A grass Swale. Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, slope four to one.
2. A catch basin on the east side of Undestad Street.
3. Back fill behind curbing.
4. A catch basin rebuilt on north end to specifications.
A motion_ was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to
release $5,700.00 in escrow monies being held for Coachlight Manor.
Motion carried.
ROAD WORK - 168TH STREET

Norman Undestad has agreed to fill a low spot in this road with the
Village supplying the needed gravel surface on .2 mile which is the length q
of this road. indestad agreed to oil to complete the project. +,
SEAS, COATING
A motion was made and seconded to let the contract for A* B, C - Seal
Coating to Alexander Construction Co. :
A. Eden View 1 $1,425.00
B. Homeward Hills Road 1,327.30
C. Riverview Road 2,177.50
Motion carried.
SOP_ VIEW ACRES - 3RD ADDITION
A motion was made by Kenneth Anderson and seconded by Alvin Bren to sign
the plat for Top View Acres - 3rd Addition after road contract is signed and
escrow money is determined.
Motion carried.
CENTRAL WATER SYSTEM
A motion was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth Anderson to deny
request for a central water system in Top View Acres at this time. More study
must be done.
Motion carried.
SUNSET RIDGE
T!^.e Village Council instructed Engineer, Carter to inspect Sunset Ridge for
possible changes 'mine made in drainage in this developement.
