The village council of Eden Prairie met in room 308 in the Eden
Prairie High School April 9, 1963 at 8 o'clock P.M.
Present were:
,- Donald Rogers, Mayor Elmer E. Clark, Clerk

Kenneth Anderson, Trustee Archie Carter, Engineer
Rolf Haugen, Treasurer Many Visitors

ORDER OF BUSINESS:
The meeting was called to order by Mayor. Rogers who called for the
reading of the minutes of the last meeting which were approved as corrected.

A motion was made and seconded that claims number 969 through 1,015
be paid.

r_a TRANSISTOR COMPANY
A motion was made and seconded that the council instruct Engineer,
Carter to contact Transistor Co. to take steps to correct the slopes on
the Dvorak property and adjoining owners also.
Motion carried.
TOBIAS-0 UTHQUDT RE-ZONING
A motion was made and seconded that the petition of Ed Tobias,
Elmer Tobias, and Dean Outhoudt for rezoning from multiple residential
to industrial a3 covered by resolution #_ be denied. There were
three (3) yeas and no (0) nays.
Motion carried.
PRkIRIE SHORES
A motion was made and seconded that the council adopt the resolution
and recommendation by Engineer, Carter on Prairie Shores Addition. Attorney,
Perbix is to send the resolution.
Motion carried.
GRAVEL PIT ORDINANCE
I, Gravel pit owners are to go through proposed gravel ordinance and
report at the fourth Wednesday meeting on April 24, 1963.

STATE-.'PLUMBING ORDINANCE
A motion was made and seconded to adopt Ordinance f34 pertaining
to State Plumbing with minor changes.
Motion carried.
ABRAHAMSON
A motion that upon the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission that James Abrahamson be permitted to divide from his tract
that part of the S 3/4 of W E 1/4 of Egg T116 R22 description as follows:
Beginning on the W line of said s 3/4 350' S of the NW corner thereof,
thence E parallel to the W line thereof 300' ; thence S 190' parallel to
the W line thereof; thence E parallel to the N line thereof 300' to the
W line thepe; thence N 190' to beginning.
Motion carried.
HENNEPIN COUNTY LEAGUE
A motion was made and seconded that the village pay the Hennepin
County League membership dues in the amount of $300.00.
Motion carried.
RECREATIONAL:.DIRECTOR
A motion was made and seconded that Leon Nesbitt be hired as
recreational director for a period of nine weeks for the salary of $675.00.
Motion carried.
LUTHER-WAY ROAD
A motion was made and seconded to accept "Luther-Way" road for right-
purposes (not the road itself) without the Jarrett portion of the
turn around and forty (40) feet for the church portion of the turn around.
Motion carried.
WATER _WEB' ,LS
A motion was duly made and seconded that the village engineer be
authorized to write Mr. Barr, Consultant Engineer for the Nine Mile Water
Shed District getting permission for the observation of the construction of
the water wells in Eden Prairie area.
Motion carried.
