The Town Board of the Town of Eden Prairie met July 24th
1961 at the American Legion Hallp 8 Pell.
Present ; Donald Rogers Chairnian,, Alvin Bren & Kenneth
E. Anderson, Suporvisors, Elmer E. Clark Clerk, Harlan Perbiz
Attorney and Archie Carter, Engineers
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr.
Rogers. The minutes of the last meeting were omited.
The purchase of a new International Truck was discussed
at some length after which the following notion was made;
A NOTION was made by Alvin Bren and seconded by Kenneth
E. Anderson that the Town Board accept the Low bid of the
Aatelford Coat of $7194.50 and purchase same. Terms of payment
to be decided at a later date.
Motion carried.
A MOTION was made by Kenneth E. Anderson and seconded by Alvin
Bren that the Chairman and Cleric be instructed to sign the purchase
agreement with the AstelfordCopfLr purchase of New Truck.
Motion Carried.
"• A MOTION was made by Alvin Brea and seconded by Kenneth E. Anderson
that the Clerk be instructed to notify the Sheriff's office that
the Town Board of Eden Prairie on the evening of the forth wednesday
in September which is the 27ths for the purpose of discussing their
new police program.
Motion Carried
A MOTION Was made and seconded amending a Motion made and seconded
approving the plat of Mr. Undstadt Known as Coachlight Manor on the
-';4th of July at a Regular Board meetings that the Clerk and Chairman
be authorized to sign the Coachlight Plat, subject to Mr. Undstad
furnishing the Town a deed for 3o ft. of the East * of 168th St f
and a#gaing escrow agreement including specifitations for Roads in
the plate
Motion Carried
The matter of a horse corral in a residential district was
discussed with a representative from the Starring district and
it was decided to proceed with legal action.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.

Note: Clerk to return certified check for $360.00 to Crystal
Motor Co.t which was furnished with the high bid for Truck.
