RESOLUTION NO. 2002-183
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUMMARY
OF ORDINANCE NO. 32-2002 AND ORDERING THE
PUBLICATION OF SAID SUMMARY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 32-2002 was adopted and ordered published at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Eden Prairie held on the 12th day of November, 2002;
NOW THEREFOR4E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNSEL OF THE
CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE,, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL FINDS, DETERMINES, AND
ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
A. Ordinance No. 32-2002 is lengthy and contains charts.
B. The test of summary of Ordinance No. 32-2002, attached hereto as Exhibit A,
conforms to M.S. § 331A.01, Subd. 10, and is approved, and publication of the
title and summary of the Ordinance will clearly inform the public of the intent and
effect of the Ordinance.
C. The title and summary shall be published once in the Eden Prairie News in a body
type no smaller than brevier or eight-point type.
D. A printed copy of the Ordinance shall be made available for inspection by any
person, during regular office hours, at the office of the City Clerk, and a copy of
the entire text of the Ordinance shall be posted in the City offices.
E. Ordinance 32-2002 shall be recorded in the Ordinance Book, along with proof of
publication,within twenty(20) days after said publication.
ADOPTED by the City Council on November 12, 2002.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO.32-2002
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDEN PRAIRIE,NIINNESOTA,PURSUANT TO
AUTHORITY GRANTED BY M.S. §469.174, SUBDIVISION 11,DEFINING THE
TERMS "PERSONS OR FAMII,IES OF MODERATE INCOME"AS THOSE TERMS
ARE USED IN SUBDIVISION 11 DEFINING"HOUSING DISTRICTS."
The following is only a summary of Ordinance No. 32-2002. The full text is available for public
inspection by any person during regular office hours at the office of the City Clerk.
The purpose of the ordinance is to define the terms"persons or families of moderate income"as
used in M.S. § 469.174, Subd 11 as persons or families whose incomes do not exceed 125% of
the median income as determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan Area.
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication
