(NOVAK-KREBS)

presenting ideas for the Dorenkemper House to the City Council also on February

Go Fishing program might be a potential audience for opening the house.
Discussion followed on whether or not to present specific ideas for the house or to
keep options open. Novak-Krebs stated the Harvest to Halloween event, which
was successful, was a good example of partnering.

meeting on February 8, and Novak-Krebs replied it was encouraged.
C. UPDATE ON FLYING RED HORSE (NOVAK-KREBS)
Novak-Krebs displayed a map of the Southwest Light Rail Transit route near
Flying Cloud Drive and Town Center Place and explained the Flying Red Horse
could be displayed near the LRT. This was a suggestion from Jay Lotthammer,
and the Flying Red Horse could possibly be encased in glass or plexiglass to
protect it. Bowes agreed with the placement. Fisher stated the commission’s role
was to ensure the Flying Red Horse would properly preserved, and it appeared it
would be under this plan.
Novak-Krebs displayed the original location of the Flying Red Horse (Holiday
Gas station and Davannis). She said the next step was to wait until Lotthammer
had the concept developed.
